Introducing Create Freedom - a passionate endeavor born from a profound belief in the transformative power of real estate.

Create Freedom is a company focused on helping people achieve freedom and create their own life based on what is important to them.

The most basic of these freedoms is the freedom to own your own home and “break up” with your landlord. We help people become first-time homeowners in the place they love. Owning your first home in Bellingham and surrounding communities is not easy, but the team is passionate about helping people committed to the Bellingham community find ways to stay.

In addition to facilitating homeownership, the company places emphasis on educating and supporting individuals in real estate investing. The potential freedoms associated with real estate investment include financial independence, liberation from conventional employment, relief from living paycheck to paycheck, and the flexibility to dictate one's work-life balance by choosing where, when, and how you work.

Finally, the team can support individuals interested in choosing freedom from a home that no longer serves them. Many people get trapped in a home that no longer serves their physical, psychological, or family needs. The team at Create Freedom has the skills to list your home and get top-dollar, but the team is also well-educated and connected to come up with creative strategies that may offer options to further your financial goals without selling your home.

How can we help you create freedom to enjoy the life you’ve always dreamed of?

Create Freedom was established by Stacey Carroll, who founded the brand based on her passion for real estate and teaching. Stacey made the decision to obtain her real estate license in Washington state with the purpose of assisting others in entering the real estate market. Stacey's primary service area is Whatcom County, with her office centrally located in Bellingham, WA.

My “Why”

For me, real estate investing is a path to help me create time, geographic, and financial freedom.

Time: I’ve worked hard my whole life. I’ve had a job since I was 12 years old and started babysitting (who lets a 12-year-old do that??). I find enjoyment in my professional achievements. But, working a W2 job for twenty years started to wear on me.  I wanted the freedom to work when I wanted to. I also loved the idea that sometimes I’ll work 60 hours a week and sometimes I’ll work less than 10 hours a week. The freedom to set my own schedule and work when I’m feeling most productive and effective is what real estate allows me to do.

Geography:  One of my favorite quotes is from Miriam Adeney: “You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.” I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to live in Washington State, Hawaii, and even in an RV while traveling around the US. The richness of connecting with people from all different walks of life and enjoying different parts of the country is something I love. Investing in real estate and my consulting business allows me to work from anywhere.

Financial: Many people find the most freedom from being financially free.  Having the resources to live how you want without worrying about being dependent on a job can create a powerful psychological freedom even if you choose to continue working in a traditional work environment. As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I’ve found incredible jobs from being my own boss and having my real estate provide the financial foundation to allow me to work for myself. I build my real estate investment portfolio around the concept of maintaining and furthering my why.  To create time, geographic, and financial freedom through real estate and entrepreneurship.

What People Are Saying

“I went into Stacey’s class knowing that real estate investing is something I’m interested in. I walked out of Stacey’s class with a clear outline of which strategies would be best suited for my goals and risk tolerances. She clearly explained different types of real estate investing and the barriers to entry for each. In addition, she brought up a real-life example of an investment property and walked us through how to evaluate and crunch the numbers. I’m more eager than ever to pursue my goals as a real estate investor and feel far better equipped than I was previously. I’m looking forward to Stacey’s next class!”
